Training Your Dog to Obey your commands. It's very important to teach your dog good habits like not
begging for food at dinner table, not to jump up or potty training.
A poorly trained dog
can embarrass its owner and offend other people--or even make them feel
threatened. To raise a well-behaved dog, enroll him or her in an
obedience class at a young age.
Begging This happens on natural instinct, To avoid this
you should feed your dog on regular schedule with no snacks between meals.
Never feed dog from dinner table.
Ignore dog while he's begging, or say "no" firmly.
Biting Again this is also a natural instinct. You might found
this in Puppies or when dog is in heat. Provide chew toys for teething puppy.
If dog is over 10 months old, have dog trainer or vet evaluate her to determine whether it's safe to keep her.
Chewing Things : This is also natural instinct for a dog. To
avoid this you Need to follow the above methods discussed in Biting.
Provide your dog with Chew toys too
Eating stool This is case of malnourishment for dog. You
should check his feeding. Talk to your vet about this.
Excessive barking Boredom or separation anxiety causes this.
Play with your dogs and provide him with toys he likes.
Jumping on people Dogs do this when they are eager to meet
with people. It also happens when they see their owner after some
interval of time ( ie in the evening when owner comes home from
office).
To avoid this Ignore him and dont make eye contact. Tell your dog to
Sit/stay.
