and They get along with other house hold pets quite easily
They are not rodents as you might think. they are from the mustildae family with cousins consisting of the mink, weasel, otter, skunk, badger and European polecat.
Ferrets, like cats, are obligate carnivores (meat eaters). They cannot survive without meat in their diet.
Check their Teeth they are for meat eating not like rodents.
