Choose a toy that matches your dog's interests: chewing, running, squeaking or pulling.

Realize that small dogs have small mouths - you need to purchase toys that will fit in
the dog's mouth.
To prevent choking, never let your dog play with anything smaller than a pingpong ball.
Buy some rawhide sticks. These come in perfect sizes for a small dog and are excellent
for dogs who enjoy chewing.
Again as I said in other articles buy them a rope which will act
like dental floss n clean their teeth.
Purchase a small ball if your dog likes to chase toys. Be sure the ball is not so small
that it could become lodged in the dog's throat.
